The IRZ is implementing the EU 4 Justice Phase II grant agreement as a junior partner for the beneficiary Supreme Judicial Council (HJPC), the Prosecutor General's Office and other courts. The project aims to strengthen the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to support the harmonisation with EU acquis – in particular by improving the independence, quality, accountability and efficiency of the justice sector and its results in the fight against organised crime and corruption. The latter is the focus of IRZ's work, which also includes advising on ongoing investigations by the public prosecutor and court proceedings.
